He was reported sent down the same time as Niku. CF doesn't show him on the Jets roster. HockeyDB has him on the Moose roster. Moose roster does not list him. Jets roster does list him. ?????

I thought Appleton was sent down to the Moose as well. Either way he was on the ice with the Jets today in Philly.

It appears that rumours of him being sent down were greatly exaggerated. That explains why he never played for the Moose.

What I read or heard, don't remember where, was Appleton going to the Moose as a paper move for salary purposes, but they didn't want to play him and risk injury. Take it FWIW.

I think somebody "announced" it here, but I don't recall seeing it officially anywhere. I definitely wasn't when Schilling and Niku were reassigned.

Yep: Washington is in the top 10 for buildings that the Jets don't have a ton of success in, but it's closer to .500 than those I listed, surprisingly.
