Extra crazy to think it would happen after they traded for a guy who's doing okay as a 2C, and drafted one who can easily be a 2C. How many 1C/2Cs do we need?!
Hedging bets is never a bad thing. Top line caliber centers don’t grow on trees, and as much as I’m excited for Perfetti, he’s not a sure thing by any stretch.

columbus should stay away from Laine.

they will keep the pattern alive of losing a top player pretty much every three years now like clockwork

I guess this is Chevy admitting that Little is never coming back. I wonder if his LTIR contract goes the other way.

I’m just glad the Rangers are not rumoured to be in PLD .
Devils fan here.
I would have thought they would be all over this. They have amazing wingers , D is looking decent with a few top end D prospects but are thin at C.

Scheifele-PLD would likely be ranked pretty high as C group, no?

That Matthews-Tavares, Point-Stamkos territory.

Yup. Scheifele-PLD-Stastny-Lowry with Perfetti developing would probably be the best C depth in the league. We would be short on wingers though if Laine and Roslovic go. Vesalainen would need to step up big time.
