PLD is a better all-around centre than Scheifele, who's a disaster defensively. If they get him he can take the tough matchups freeing up Scheifele.

Scheifele is one of the best producing centers in the league since he became our #1C. As in, the only players ahead of him are players who have had legitimate claims at best player in the league at some point during that period. Dubois scored 61 points in his best year so far. All-around includes offense.

MTL: KK, Guhle/Caufield, and a 2nd

kind of similar to the Mike Richards trade afew years back

I proposed this in the first thread but with a first instead. Then we had a third team in to make the cap work.

Something like Armia + 2nd to retain 2 million for 2 years.

Armia at the deadline will fetch atleast a 2nd+b prospect.

So 2x2nds and a prospect to eat 5million in cap. (Marc Staal cost less).
