Well yeah, I can't remember when Hull and Mogilny went over 70 but I don't think it was after.
It was not.
In fact 1992-93 was the last time any NHL player hit the 70 goal mark.

1992-93:
715 NHLers with at least 1 GP
21 had 100+ Points
14 had 50+ Goals
25 had 40+ Goals

SINCE - 20,463 players with at least 1 GP in a single season (1993-94 to 2017-18) - 23 seasons
62 had 100+ Points
51 had 50+ Goals
178 had 40+ Goals

(and because someone is gonna bring it up)
The Previous 23 seasons (1969-70 to 1991-92)
12,158 Players with at least 1 GP in a single season
190 had 100+ Points
123 had 50+ Goals
370 had 40+ Goals

Let's not forget about Andrew Raycroft. His fall from grace was as bad as Jim Carey's.

Also, although arguably not his best season, Patrick Lalime went on some sort of insane undefeated streak in his rookie season (I think 1 games to start his career) with the Pens in 1996-97 and that was possibly the most impressive highlight of his career.

He the **** does Tyler Myers have 11 seasons under his belt?

I still remember like it was yesterday how he was a "promising prospect". God.. time flies
I remember when Sabers fans were predicting multiple Norris Trophies for him. He was a sure fire Hall of Famer

Not Selänne. His rookie season was probably his 4th best season imo. After seasons from 96 till 99.

Chris Stewart had 19 points in 53 games in 08/09, 64 in 77 the next year, then had a high of 36 after that.

TJ Galiardi had 39 points in 70 games in his first full season, with a high of 17 in 62 after that.

I assumed this would just be a fellow leaf fans making another barzal thread, shocked at just the one mention on the first page.

For some reason goalies tend to be the culprits. Raycroft, Mason, potentially Murray.
