Marek svatos and Petr prucha
Petr Prucha in 05. He had Jagr when he should have been MVP setting him up on the power play. Next year Rangers brought Shannahan in, who took Prucha's place on the power play and that was pretty much it for him.
Still feels like it lolHe the **** has Tyler Myers 11 seasons under his belt?
I still remember like it was yesterday how he was a "promising prospect". God.. time flies
Jimmy Carson?
People saying Selanne are wrong in my opinion. He had a season with the Ducks where he put up 50+ goals and 85+ points while Kariya only played like 20 games that year. Just dominant
Seriously check out how awful this team was outside of Teemu:

It was magical but playing on a garbage team and still putting up over 50 goals is even more impressive to me.I understand what you are saying, but watching Selanne's rookie season was magical - although his rookie goal record was kind of the product of Tie Domi.
Svatos was my first thought too. 32 goals, 50 pts in 61 games, 5th in Calder voting at a rookie. But, his struggles were due to repeated injuries, so I'm not sure he really fits in with the examples provided in the OP, or the spirit of the thread.
