Anjorin is on the bench. :sarcasm:

Could play Havertz or Ziyech there though, not their ideal position but they can do it. Abraham is on the bench and could have played as the striker.

Anjorin plays further forward. Havertz or Ziyech there is a recipe for disaster, neither is good enough defensively. The issue with Mount there is that it wastes him - with the others the issue would be defensive liability.

Sure they are a defensively liability back there, but we're playing with 3 centerbacks and 2 wingbacks against Fulham. How many players do we need to keep behind the ball and how conservative do we need to be in a game against a relegation side? It's a very negative approach.

reading back tour discussion and playing reece in the double pivot still seems the obvious temporary solution to me instead of dropping mount deep

Fulham pressing really high and aggressively so far, and we need to adjust and start playing some more direct balls.
