Solskear is one lucky bastard. De Gea is on his own level today, but defence is tragicomic. No way Solskear would finish in Top 4.

Wrong. United have had their chances as well and not all of De Gea's saves were that difficult. United can clearly play with everyone bar City and Liverpool and with those fixtures considering the rivalries you never know. Like I said, they need to do better with possession and add more spells is possession to control a match at the right times.

Really weird stoppage time by Dean. Didn't add enough for the time wasting, but then magically added another almost minute and a half after the first 4.

Saying 5 right off the bat would have been fine (honestly 6 wouldn't have been insane either) but to say 4 and they extend it to 5:20 was weird.

Silver lining of this is that third now actually looks attainable for Chelsea. Run-in is tough though - most of our games against the top six in the first half of the season were at home. Still have to go to the Emirates, Etihad, Anfield, and Old Trafford. The latter two are in the last five matches of the season.

Saw this elsewhere:

Dear Mr Pochettino,

Thank you for attending today’s interview.
Although we felt you gave a reasonable account of yourself we have decided against offering you any position at this time.

We have an internal candidate who has greater understanding of “squeaky bum time” AKA, not bottling it in big games. We feel he is much more deserving of the position at this time.

Can I suggest you don’t apply again until you have a few trophies in your cabinet.

Kind Regards

Manchester United Football Club

The game was basically level in the first half. Spurs had the possession edge, United had the better chances, including the goal.

The second half started a bit of back and forth until about 55-60 mins and then United stopped going forward as much and basically sat back to defend.

They were outplayed for 30 minutes while defending a lead.

Outplayed. Keeper was the difference.

ManU wants Toby so much, give him and Lloris in exchange for DeGea.
Ha or United can just pay the ridiculously low release clause for Toby and keep the best keeper in the world. Even if you added 150M to Toby and Lloris for De Gea, it wouldn’t be enough.

They just need to learn to keep possession better that late on. They have the talent to do it.

jeeze and suddenly Man U and Arsenal are level on points....that does not feel good

As I've been saying, United are capable of finishing 3rd. Only six points off Chelsea now too and only seven off of Spurs. Sixteen matches left to go too which is a lot.

Hypothetically, let's say City lost tomorrow.

How bad a shape does that put them in?
Right now Liverpool are just too good. If city lose tomorrow they will have to do something historic to win the league.

Their historic season last year got them 100 points. They max they can get is 98 if they lose tomorrow. So, it's really doubtful they overtake LFC.
