This is no different really than Madden with Tocchet.

Johnston the cheat. Tocchet the bookmaker. Not sure if they're more qualified to run the Pens bench or The Rivers Casino, but I digress . . .

His name may not be in the thread title but to me he's the biggest jackass in Pittsburgh sports media right now.

He wrote a fluff piece on Johnston today yet trashed Desjardins.

Dejan is a troll. His obsession with hiring Ulf was terrible. Molinari is the only sane Pens writer and the PG sucks too.

Not sure what law school you went to but maybe they should hire me to teach. If you don't quote someone / don't post their content, there's nothing to cite. Citations are used as proof when you suggest a certain person said a certain thing, or as a credit when you are sharing some type of information that they produced.

It's disappointing that so many people around the league either can't see or choose to ignore how poor and unprofessional this guy is. I don't follow him on twitter or click on his trib articles. But when he's interviewed on TSN, NHL networks and Pittsburgh sports radio it's hard for a lot of people to avoid it.

I think it's probably worth it to occasionally point out instances like him on TSN the other day or his even more pathetic rant on ESPN 970 so people are reminded and for newer fans, made aware of how ridiculous this guy is. Occasionally being the key. I mean, that 970 interview was by far, the absolute worst I've ever heard from him, so that's saying something. Plus when it's not on the trib site he won't benefit from it. But I do agree with the overall sentiment to not feed the moron by reading and clicking on his crap on the trib. Most of the same "beat" stuff is available from Molinari and Shelly on the PG.

@vbam8 to be fair nearly all the PHWA members on twitter have been putting up messages like that - Allen has stepped down and they've turned over the Executive Committee.
