I agree, it's a sucky stat. But they really aren't ideal defensively. None of our top 6 wingers are particular good defensive players.

But this is the first game they've played together? Outside of Hornqvist's turnover on the first goal, I didn't see anything that would suggest that line is poor defensively.

It doesn't matter if they're slightly shaky in their own end when the puck is in the Blues' end every time they are on the ice.
