RSE can opt out after 5 years, City can't opt out ever for any reason.
whats this 15 mill per yr for 15 yrs goes towards plz someone explain that i didnt hear what it goes towards that the city has to pay that much each yr
Anyone defending the actions of Glendale's city council need to put their hockey passion aside.
No one is upset by it because they hate hockey in Phoenix, they are upset/annoyed at how a City council can be so stupid and do such an excellent job proving it.
Haha. No it's not. The reason 98% of the posters in this thread wanted the deal to fail is because they want the hockey team in a colder climate. It's still about sports and has nothing to do with corporate welfare or the financial well being of Glendale.
Talking about certain fans that wanted the Coyotes relocated.
Out Clause for Glendale - No.
Out Clause for RSE - Yes.
Wait a second, if there is no OUT clause anymore, then how is this a 5 year deal only? should it not be 15 years?
The Coyotes aren't completely out of the woods as for relocation this year, right?
This may not be over yet. No out clause may scare the potential new owners away. Why would you want to commit to a proven shaky-at-best market long-term? They may vote this thing down yet.

It's for operation of the building. If the team leaves, the city is stuck with the full 15 million cost of managing the building.
There is an out clause for the owners, not for glendale
if the team leaves in 5 years, Glendale gets nothing I think
