Warmups merchant Pat Maroon.
It’s almost embarrassing that’s really what he does for the B’s now. What’s even more annoying is they don’t even have to dress him to get his nightly contribution but they do anyway

Im a bit surprised this is so mismatched. Florida is on a whole different level
Look at the center cores of both teams and it makes sense. In the PO when you have days to study your opponent match ups and individual effort/talent take over. The Florida centers are winning a hundred micro battles every game and it’s obvious. They are more talented and out working the Bruins centers every shift.

Hell
While reffing isn’t to blame why the Bruins are down 3-1
lt’s wild how many bad calls have gone against the Bruins. 18 powerplays for the panthers, 8 for the Bruins over the last 3 games.

2 shots in the third didn’t help much either but the flow/intensity of the games have been pretty dictated by the officiating & when/what they decide

Getting dominated will lead to a penalty discrepancy, yes.

"Rule 69 – Interference on the Goalkeeper
69.1 Interference on the Goalkeeper - This rule is based on the premise
that an attacking player’s position, whether inside or outside the
crease, should not, by itself, determine whether a goal should be
allowed or disallowed.

If a defending player has been pushed, shoved, or fouled by an
attacking player so as to cause the defending player to come into
contact with his own goalkeeper, such contact shall be deemed
contact initiated by the attacking player for purposes of this rule, and if
necessary a penalty assessed to the attacking player and if a goal is
scored it would be disallowed."

Disappointing as a hockey fan that this goal was allowed.. Florida might have won the game anyway, but to allow this goal goes against the rule book.. If the explanation is that the shove didnt have an effect on swayman making a save... i think that is just speculation by referees/Toronto, he didnt have a chance to make the save.. how can they determine he wouldnt have made the save.. unrelated, but i dont think anyone expected bobrovsky to make the save on dumba, yet he did.. thats why they are nhl goaltenders..

Its one thing to absolve officials of bad calls because of the speed of the game, but when you are looking at a replay with no time limit.. just very disappointing as a fan just watching the game. i dont follow boston or florida...

Florida probably does not even need refs help with how Boston is playing. I think they would still beat Boston 4-2 but refs just seem to highlight it bit more.

Last game could easily have been 2-2 after first period if not for Swayman having god mode in first period if we are judging chances.

But name a playoff series in recent memory where reffing has been good? It's kinda joke and super inconsistent in general, not just this series.

Yeah might just be that the Panthers are that much better, sometimes you gotta look at the bigger picture.

That period you are talking about there "2-2" is probably the only period where Boston has actually been decent, all Panthers besides that even in the loss.

True. Florida was much better in periods 2 and 3. Looked like matter of time before game turns anyway. This just accelerated it.

It's not like you can't turn the series from 1-3 down though.

Florida is just playing modern day Boston role in hockey. Taking use of every advantage given. Mean and good team that everybody likes to hate now.

Hate the game, not the players.

Tbf Boston grabbing a guy fresh off back surgery on the wrong side of 35 to be their muscle is wildly stupid, Maroon knows he’s a bruin for most likely one more game, he has no gas but also no desire to be whatever type of scary maroon ever was.

The guy they originally grabbed to be their muscle beat his wife up and hasn’t been seen since except for in court where the case got tossed.

There's no assuming involved. Everyone knows what happened. There is only one possible explanation. It's not rocket science. But go on with your defense attorney charade.

Bruins fans feeling like they’re talking directly to themselves in this thread has me laughing my ass off
