I don't believe that the NHL has ran Key Arena in preseason games since the early 90's.
They run the Colisee every year.

The Stanley Cup finals air in Quebec via a local station.
They don't air in Seattle. Unless they watch it on the CBC feed. But locally, nah.

The owner in Seattle is TBA.
The owner in Quebec City is a billionaire at the head of a media conglomerate.

There isn't an arena being built in Seattle.
There is an arena being built in Quebec.

The Colisee sits more, is being refurbished.
The Key Arena sits less. Was refurbished to make it more of a basketball venue and less of a hockey one.

CONCLUSION: Move 'em to Seattle.

Actually, the Colisee in Quebec is. The locker rooms were torn down to be rebuilt into NHL level ones. The air conditionning is being redone. The office space is being refurbished too.

The prospective owner of the team in Quebec has formed a management group, headed by the man who managed the Bell Center, too.
