This is so bizarre. Towards the end of the season a buyer emerges. Needs a little longer to finalize deal. City and/or league agrees to give them more time and it'll be finialized in a few months. Soemtime around the year end or early new year buyer officially pulls out. Towards seasons end a new buyer emerges...

This has gotta be the 3rd or 4th time now.

I think Mr. Pastor is just the place holder until the Yotes season is done and it's time to load the pistol toward CoG to 'renew'

Honestly, who cares? It means nothing. It doesn't matter if Pastor submits an offer sheet or goes down to Bettman's office and plunks down a stack of Washingtons... the ONLY paper work that will matter is the one on which the city of Glendale agrees to mortgage their future on by subsidizing this team. Don't get excited until that starts to happen ( and fail

They would be willing to subsidize a deal, which again is not against the law in itself, but nothing close to what was on the previous deal. The CoG knows this will be part of any deal. That is part of the reason Beacon is around.

I'm pretty sure most of us care, the only difference being which side of the fence one is on.

It is hard to take seriously considering previous attempts but it sure does make it interesting.

It seems clear that the NHL is now running the Coyotes sale with a sense of urgency. If that wasn’t the case, the floodgates wouldn’t have opened on the number of candidates bidding for the team.

He seems to think Gosbee is the lead horse

Currently, the Gosbee group is rumored to be working a fifteen year deal with no “out clause” for the Coyotes in Glendale, including an option to purchase the arena.

No mention on how much $$$ they want from CoG of course. Devil is always in the details.

Strange isnt it? Part 'A' the books, already been made into a movie, pretty easy to ascertain precisely where they sit in all of about an hours worth of work in doing ones due-dilly. Part 'B' pretty much the same. Weiers and various members of Council clearly signalling they wont be entertaining anything along the lines of the Jamison agreement. Just how this Pastor guy claim's to have done his due-diligence over the past 6mnths when as of Monday Weiers had never heard of the guy I have no idea. Gosbee/LeBlanc who the heck knows and if reports are true, apparently Jamisons still working on this thing. Strange strange days in Glendale. Just no idea what to make of it really. :dunno:

1. Gosbee and a clown (sounds like an early 80's sitcom)
2. Dan Pastorini. I mean Darin Pastor. Pastorini probably has a better chance of buying the team.

Quite the line-up.

I could see something getting done with Gosbee. 15 years at 10 million a year = $150 million. Assuming the COG would go for 10 milliion a year.

Things are getting interesting. I would speculate that there could be a deadline. :sarcasm:
