Be careful.. Jamison might be reading these forums. We don't want to give him any ideas. I want to see if he can turn it around without our help.
There would have to be ulterior motives... such as Status, tax shelter, combining other interests.... have a leg into the proposed gambling facility. If you are looking for who Jamisons investors are, they would be souls that fall into the above category.
Brought up earlier of course, but ya, apparently Jamison was (reported in the Globe, discussed here at length) looking into the US Immigration Services Immigrant Investor Program, apparently at the behest of whomever (the Balkan, insert shoe picture here plz)) wherever. Green Cards for Green Backs.... anecdotally, someone I know who claims to have seen Jamison's prospectus did indeed tell me that its incredibly light on actual "business plans" per se'; heavy on the accountancy & tax shelter benefits, Glendales contributions etc. Read more like a statement from an Actuary or Accountant meeting up with an end of year Annual Report. Very curious indeed.

Figures and projections equate to "if's" and "but's"... Fine if you want a Merry Christmas, but do little to inspire investors. The plans on getting to the figures are where the rubber meets the road.
"Yadda.....yadda.....yadda....."

Legend, we finally agree on something! The beat goes on and Gramps is nowhere to be found! Where is old Gramps Waldo anyway? I thought he was going to be buying this franchise, "shortly"? Time for you to move ahead and realize this transaction is dead and GJ is what we all thought he was, a puppet sent forth by GB to continue the heist of Glendale and the Coyote fans!
New article on the Tohonos....
Seems they never negotiated in good faith with the other tribes from the very beginning.

some interesting tweets from Joyce Clark last night. Nice to bring up Chapter 13 but municipalities go through Chapter 9

Also it seem she was at the practice on Monday, going to the practice tonight, and looking for a tailgate on Sunday.

Well, what I understand is that those other tribes already have established casinos in the area and simply want to block any further competition. Not like they serve some community interest and Tohonos are the bad guys.
The Gila River Indian Community and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community oppose the planned casino because it violates the 2002 agreement, attorneys for the tribes said on Tuesday.
Next thing you know, Glendale is on sale.
The Glendale Art Commission was not receptive Thursday to exploring a plan to sell items in the municipal art collection.
The City Council earlier this year directed staff to look at liquidating the assets as Glendale wrestled with a $35 million deficit in the fiscal year that opens July 1.
"I know it's important for the city to move forward and get as much capital as it can," Commissioner Janine Barbour said at the special meeting. "Why don't we stop paying for the stadium instead?"

In my opinion if GJ and the JSG had some $$$ to close this deal they would be front and centre before the season starts. Energizing a fanbase and selling tickets.
GJ, where are you???? This is a circus show with the COG playing the clown role and GB and BD the ringmasters.
Next thing you know, Glendale is on sale.
The Gila and Salt River tribes operate all the existing casinos in the metro Phoenix area.
