Watching the replay. This should be the blueprint with this roster.

Less Jo 3's. He only took 1 today. Less Redick in general. More Simmons and Butler on offense.
Stop worrying about defense when we bring in reserves. Just gamble for steals and try to get as many run outs as possible.
Bench's job should be to get as many offensive touches as possible.

Somehow Barkley, like a lot of guys who played with the Sixers (Dr. J, Malone, Cheeks, and even Wilt) gets overlooked these days when talking about the game's greats. Dude could do everything on the basketball court and he was only 6-4.

Pretty sure Barkley was taller than 6’4”. He was about the same height as Jordan (whatever that is)

If you put any value into basketball advanced stats a great argument can be made that barkley is a top 5 player all time, and firmly cemented in the top 10 all time. Its funny how much he hates on advanced stats, when he is the one player that benefits from these advanced stats more than anyone.

Barkley was also 6'6 horizontally. Literally "the round mound of rebound."
The next Barkley is currently at Duke.

Sixers need Fultz back, even without a jump shot, their biggest problem is defense at the 2 and 3, Shamet is learning on the job, Korkmaz can't play D, and Reddick should be coming off the bench so he's not matched up against athletic guards. Fultz has the athleticism and length to defend almost anyone.

It's a real shame that Smith got hurt, he's another with the athleticism to become an excellent defender.
BC - TLC, Korkmaz, Bolden and some Europeans who'll never see the states
BB - Smith, Shamet, Milton

When people complain about trading up to draft Fultz they should remember that the Sixers got Anžejs Pasečņiks with the 25th pick from Orlando that year when they could have had either Kuzma or Josh Hart.

We got the stars. Lakers got the role players (Lonzo, Hart, Kuzma, Svi, Wagner, hell even Zubac would be getting minutes here over Muscala).

Gotta weather the storm until we can build a bench and Jo+Simmons mature. That might not be for another year or two.

Point is, we could have had the star (Fultz) and another nice role player in that draft. Either Hart or Kuzma would be a nice piece to add to this team.

Noticed that Bertans is missing the end of his ring finger on the right hand. That seems weird for a basketball player.

This game is getting harder and harder to watch. Sixers putting up basically no resistance on D. TJ should never be guarding DeRozan, but he is constantly.

Simmons and Embiid simply cannot co-exist. They will never win with both of them. Got to choose one and move on. Simmons cannot shoot the basketball at all outside of 8 feet. The spacing on this team is a joke.

much like the Flyers..a bad mix of players on the team
