It is a lose-lose trade. Harden looks old and out of shape out there being outplayed by Tyrese Maxey. He won't be happy about that even if it is his own fault. Who knows when Simmons will play again? He will milk the mental illness angle and the back problems for all they are worth while enjoying the money and lifestyle.

Harden is scoring for his team. Not much, but scoring.

Simmons has not played in 20 months.

Do you want 15 points for 40+ mills?

Harden at his money will be a burden, not a positive.
That next contract is going to be ugly

Already rumors about Atlanta looking at Ben Simmons

Been saying for a bit that there’s a decent chance Simmons never steps foot on the floor for the Nets.

If he were to get traded to the Hawks the irony would be off the charts.

Pathetic performance today. He has always been overrated.

You won't win titles with players like him.

Kobe said this years ago.

Houston wasn't the problem nor was Broolyn. He is the problem. Like Stephen Jackson said, hes more interest in hanging out with rappers than trying to win championships.

Not even sure Philly or another team would give him a super max at this point.

Do most of you hold the common sentiment that Simmons is indifferent to basketball itself and merely likes the lavish lifestyle it affords him?

100000%

Perfect example being that most of his yearly salary is given to him in September of every year, vs the regular payment structure.

I seriously feel sorry for whoever gives a max contract to guy who average 5 points in the second half during this series. I guess the one good thing about us having Russ is I don't need to worry about the Lakers doing that
