York is a perfect example to highlight the many components of skating. He's by all accounts a "good" skater. He's smooth. He has great edges to move laterally to cut off plays in the neutral zone. He's agile to maneuver in tight spaces to escape forecheckers. What he lacks is power and explosiveness. He's probably not going to win many foot races at the next level.
Here is a nice OZ sequence from last night's game.
JOB looks like he could play the preppy villain in an 80s teen movie.
Speaking of prospects in movie roles.....
I say, the St. Ivanys haven't gone empty-netted since that yachting excursion for beluga summer '74 off the coast of Brittany. Quite.
Can't he walk away from that team anytime that he would want and go pro? Now it might not be the ethical thing to do but I don't believe that he has to stay at the school.Come on Covid, cancel season so York can join the Flyers. Do me one solid.
If you don't have Gavin Hain as #1, you're a joke.
I've never watched Denver, but Savoie is nice player right?Denver is much harder to watch this year. It’s Brink and zero playmakers. He can create on his own but it’d be nice if he had someone who was even an average NHL playmakers to play with.
Good offensively. Total floater though.I've never watched Denver, but Savoie is nice player right?
