Most teams would be happy to add a prospect like Friedman late in the process but not this club.

He didn't play at a world beater of a program but he played three years of college hockey playing up in the lineup. Guys like that don't really need to be treated with the kiddy gloves.

I was out of the loop not watching and didn't know he was playing until just before the 3rd, but I don't get it. His skating looked high end even among pros. He didn't have any issue physically. He's got the skill. He even was making some terrific aggressive defensive reads, especially in the NZ. Maybe he doesn't understand the system yet and that's a no-no?

How is Lamarche helping the Phantoms more than he could? It tests every definition of sanity.

Friedman was +3. I know Gordon is a big +/- guy.

Phantoms finished the regular season with 101 points and a 20-2-2 record against the North Division! Just to give you an idea, while it may still be the AHL, the Atlantic Division is on a different level.
