A lot of Wade Allison in the highlight package from last night's game.
Hockey Canada may have screwed up not inviting him to selection camp.

Agreed. Allison looks like a young Shane Doan to me. Big strong bowlegged farmboy with hockey sense. Goes hard to the net, great scoring and passing touch, hits hard.Hockey Canada may have screwed up not inviting him to selection camp.

I know you want to hate on Gordon and he bugs me too, but you can blame Hextall a bit for the ice time. If you want these guys to play all the top minutes, he shouldn't have signed 3-4 AHL All-Stars. Then send Weal and Laughton down.
Not saying it's all Allison but what a turnaround WMU has had. They are top 10 in scoring at 3.44 goals per game. They averaged 2.22 last year. Already matched last year's win total.
He's not eligible next year.Unless you're at the top of the draft (Toews), Hockey Canada ain't looking your way if you go to college. Maybe next year if he has a big enough season, I don't see the Flyers signing him after one season.
Case closed. Thanks. My sources confirm, it's 100% thanks to Allison.

when could we expect allison to join the Flyers
He is Simmonds replacement in 2.5 years....so then.
Fingers crossed...lol.
I think he'd look perfect in Schenn's spot on the PP. Trade Schenn, keep Simmonds. He is Simmonds replacement in 2.5 years....so then.

Lindblom seems like a good net front presence, all indications are he's tough a **** and hard to move.
