I get what you are saying but I just see him as a liabilty.I love him on offence but get really scared when teams have pucks in Bruins end and him on the ice.Do not like the tradeoff basically at that price.But at the end of the day it is not my decision so hope he plays well.

I've watched a ton of hockey over the years and many Blackhawks games. I just noticed on NHL.com, Toews is listed as a "100 Greatest Player of All Time". I understand the defensive side of the game and leadership but what? I've never watched a Hawks game and was left in awe of his play. There are people who touch the puck and you know something will happen. Like Stamkos or Kucherov, who I've seen play the B's twice, or McDavid and even Eichel now. But Toews a "greatest player of all time" tag? Is this just a case of completely overrating someone to the ground?

How long have we been screaming for a second line winger ? With all our injuries on D this season we got a nice look at some good defensemen that have now been religated to Providence . For the right deal , move him and Lauzon almost seamlessly slots in .

I think Wagner and Backes also fit that mold as well
