Random thoughts:

Strong third period after a lackluster second. Loved how Cassidy put Kuraly's line out for a defensive zone face-off in the waning minutes. Everyone thought he was crazy having those players out in OT against Buffalo, but they are making the coach's decisions look good.

Love Rask, but his nonchalant demeanor isn't always a great fit for the Boston market.

Pastrnak can deny it all he wants, but that (awful) celly was a blatant Kuznetsov ripoff.

I kinda like Weezer, and maybe that kinder, gentler tune fits today's kinder, gentler NHL. But it was so lame I was actually wishing it was Nickelback singing Burn it to the Ground. And next time they lip sync, they could at least turn on the amps. Was a dud for both the NHL and Weezer.

I dislike how the NHL has put all their marketing eggs in PK Subban's basket. His tire commercial is brutal, and now he's going to have his own fashion/entertainment show at the All Star Game? Is he even having an All Star caliber season?

This team wouldn't be in a playoff spot without a dynamite PP and Krug makes it run. It would be crazy to trade him now.

You know what would be worse? To pay an undersized defenseman who is at best average in his own zone 6-7 million for 5 years when his contract is up after next season. Cannot imagine him taking anything less. In regard to the upcoming prospects its time to say thank you and move on.

He said that this may be his last one and maybe if there’s a next one he’ll be up in the press box drinking beer

He’s 32 let’s be real, this was likely his last one

Ok I heard that and didn’t think anything more than him saying it could be a long time before the Bruins are in another outdoor game :dunno:

And Kuraly also said it may be his last one. It really may be a lot of player's last Winter Classic. Only 2 teams a season play in it for crying out loud. Agree that Tuukka said nothing wrong and was simply making a lighthearted comment.

He has 82 points in his last 104 games. He's EARNING IT.

No he not.He costs Bruins goals steady cause he is weak in own end and horrible if puck not on his stick. How many them points on powerplays? 5 plus million powerplay specialist is not cool.Bruins tied for NHL lead I believe in shorthanders allowed too.Guess none of that on him.
