Yeah, it's really f***ing hard to watch these jokers right now. Just an awful, boring product that isn't remotely entertaining.

Nope.

Zucker - Crosby - Rakell
Guentzel - Malkin - Kapanen
DOC - Blueger - Rust
Who cares

That gives you three lines with straight line speed that can play even if you are sacrificing a ton of offense on L3.

But “just rearranging chairs on the titanic or you can’t break up Jake and Sid”..

That's still a sleep inducing bottom six of just changing the deck chairs on the USS Penguin.

Edit: Yes. That's a real ship. It was a submarine rescue ship. How fitting...

It’s still building the roster to play the game he wants rather than asking players to simply play the game he wants.

So, to go completely non offensive on the 3rd line is an improvement?

Edit: This is a tanking move that should have been put in place a long time ago.

With how Sullivan is using the 3rd line. Yes it is.

Sullivan wants the third line to go out and not get scored on. It isn’t right now and neither is the fourth line. Putting Blueger and Rust together should help with that because Rust can actually skate the puck out of the dzone.

TB and Rust together is consisting of looking like a PK unit 5 on 5. After manly cycles in our own zone he'll finally manage to flip it out for a change.

Nah. But maybe we will make a move and Sullivan will suddenly change his mind that GCR and Jeff Carter will deliver us success.

McGinn Poehling (DOC) Rust that should be third line since Blueger is a lost cause...bury him on the fourth until he is traded..Archie Blueger Carter there is your decent bottom 6 that can drive plays and not get caved

I don't think I have an issue with Carter more than I have an issue with Kapanen, McGinn, Heinen and more not being able to maintain some consistency. Even though improving on Carter could be done too.

You just blamed Kapanen for consistency when he’s producing regularly despite being used like a bottom six grinder.

His talents should be doing "MORE". Even spite being bottom six no farther than the 3rd line. His metrics didn't even change being put in the top six last year. He very much fits the "change of scenery" kind of move. He doesn't shoot enough, and he thinks he's a playmaker. You can prance his numbers all you want, he needs to do more. Like the fit is not good here.

How do you expect him to do “MORE” when he’s permanently banished to the top six playing awful usage?

He got a short spurt of time with Malkin last year when Malkin was hurt and he’s never gone back there. Why?

This is the issue. We have no idea what we have in this roster because regardless of play everything is already locked in based on the coach’s assessment.

Jake has 2 5v5 goals in like 20 games and he still gets top line status and top Powerplay usage. Where is the coaching?

Top six is top six, nobody told him to act as of a player he is not. He's not Crosby or a Malkin, or even a center. He thinks he's more than he is. He's got 48 shots on net. How many did he pass up?

You are making a case for change, but not the right kind of change.

There's nothing more pathetic than the Pens PP when down by a goal late in the 3rd or the Pens PK when up by a goal late in the 3rd. f*** these f***ing losers. I f***ing hate them all.

Crosby and Malkin are lazy useless idiots. I don't care how many cheap points they score in meaningless games vs arizonas and vancouvers. They are a total non-factor when it really matters, when games are tough. Just two empty spots on the ice relative to their cap hits. Absolute useless complacent pieces of s...t.

Ty Smith is really bad

Sure, he makes 7 mln of team's cap space and yet fails to produce a single point in a lost game.

6 on 4 for a minute and couldn't come close to a shot on net lol

Malkin had a special role in that, consistently unble to take a pass, make a pass, handle the puck or shoot on the net.

What an entitled lazy stupid piece of garbage.

Outside the main three, Rakell and maybe Guentzel, I’m pretty much up for ownership to doing anything.

The truth is:
1) of the "main three" only Crosby should've really been still on the team.
2) the ownership isn't going to do anything. Their plan was to resign all the old complacent washed out ex-superstars to super long contracts and just ride it out with them.

At this point it is hard to say if that kind of 3rd period is heartening or just extra frustrating.

I didn't believe they were gonna tie it even for a second. I know these idiots all too well, seen them long enough.
