Like I said in Cole's poll thread, I think the pieces we brought in are an upgrade over the pieces we sent out. The problem is I don't think they're a big enough improvement over what we needed for it to make much of a noticeable difference.
This roster, IMO, needed to bring in impact players up front and on defense and instead it brought in better complimentary players than we currently had. We went from being a 5 out of 10 team to a 5.5 or 6 out of 10 team, when what we needed were moves that would turn us into a 8 out of 10 team or above in order to compete.
