PENGUINS (40-16-4) at PREDATORS (26-25-10)

TV: FS-TN 7:00 Central

Last 10: Pittsburgh 5-3-2; Nashville 4-3-3

Season series: This is the second and final game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Nashville Predators. James Neal and Brandon Sutter each had a goal and an assist to lead the Penguins to a 4-1 win at Consol Energy Center on Nov. 15.

Big story: Predators goalie Pekka Rinne is expected to make his first start since Oct. 22. Nashville gets him back from a lengthy injury ordeal at a time when it's desperate to start stringing together wins.

Nystrom should get four goals tonight so he knows what it's like to score 4 AND win.

I hope expectations are lowered for Rinne. Hip surgeries are very hard to come back from and it isn't like he tore it up coming back early this season. This could be a very tough game for him. Still excited that's back and wish I could see it.

It's probably safe to say he didn't tear it up because of the infection. Hopefully now he'll be fully healthy and all will be well. The one fear I would have is Trotz runs him to death to try to make a playoff run and gets injured again like last season .

I agree. Certainly don't expect elite Rinne, it'll take awhile.
Just happy he's back.
