Is it me, or is the opening night schedule a snoozer?

Since the league seems to want to make a big deal of opening night...how about use your stars and sell the game? What is this? Calgary, Vancouver, and Montreal offer nothing to the national audience.

Here's a quickly slapped together 4 game slate (and you could come up with many more combos), for instance, that has top teams and/or some of your more marketable stars in each game.
Pittsburgh/Toronto
Tampa/Washington
Winnipeg/Nashville
Edmonton/Colorado (McDavid/MacKinnon, or make it Edmonton/Toronto if you must have a Canadian matchup)

Maybe I'm wrong, though...?
