I just hope the NHL doesn't try to cram in as many back-to-backs in the first 6 weeks of the season like they did last year for the Penguins.

Even if the Penguins did open up at Washington for banner raising, so what? 5 > 1.

And for all 5 banner raising ceremonies the Penguins had, the Capitals were only the visiting team ONCE - in 2016. So they can quit whining anytime now.

Caps fans aren't happy if they're not whining about something Penguins related. it just shows how much the Pens success is in their heads. they are about as green with envy as they could possibly be, even after finally winning it all.
as I said somewhere else: no one believes that Caps v Pens is a big rivalry except for Caps fans......and NBC.

No...I counted 11 or 12 b2bs...quite a few in the second half of the season
