I can not believe how excited I am for these last games. I realize the Caps aren't making the playoffs and they have issues in net and on D but finally getting to see Kuz, (who I have been following since 2010) is just so friggin awesome.

If they ****can GMGM and use some of that freed up money for a decent defenseman and to resign Grabs I will be more optimistic than I have ever been as a Cap fan.

Just hoping for 12+ minutes of ice for Kuzya, and not stuck with grinders.

Realllllly want to see him with Nick and Ovi. Having a winger that may actually be able to hit an empty net on a pass from Ovechkin sure would be nice.

Also interested to see if he gets PP time, and where. I'd assume Backstrom's spot on PP2 or Mojo's on PP1. Judging from some of the drills he did today at KCI, I'd guess Backstrom's spot on PP2. He was practicing getting to those rim-arounds that Ovechkin plays on the PP and coming off the wall shooting.

The positive outcome for Kuz this season would be to taste NHL play and stay healthy.

I hope the opponent will opt to still hit Green and not the rookie. For now :)

I do not feel starting Kuz with OV is right decision. We need points.

Imagine that the game goes to the shootout, and for the final try with a chance to win it comes Kuznetsov!
Go Caps!

"Net" as I like to call him doing a sick move in the shootout seems like a fine ending. I can see Oates stubbornly refusing to use him, though. I would rather he pots a goal that ends up on the score sheet.

Tonight could be the best game of the year, or it be the worst. At least we know Ovi is going to show up. I would love to see clearly that Backstrom and Green are giving their full effort as well. Have either broken a sweat this year? I won't hold my breath.

Yeah after putting in all that work, he kind of overlooked that one aspect.

Back to the old drawing board.

Over under on the line Oates will put Nettie on... Vegas showing 2.5

I am going to take the under

Yeah, next Ward in KKK Hood...

Anyways, i hope he gets his jitters out early, plays a good game and we don't get embarrassed in our own building.

Preview of the first round of the playoffs or the nail in the coffin.

You know Orpik is just salivating at the opportunity to rock Kuz.

And Oates has Kuznetsov on a line with Beagle and Wilson. I mean how could you could mess with those top two lines, they have been so great...sigh.
