We got two big points and now are in a 4-way tie for fourth in the Metro, but we take 4th place due to one less game being played…that’s crazy…just keep hoping the Flyers and the others keep fading…only way we’re making the playoffs is taking third in the Metro bc the wings and Tampa keep winning…

- This not a team that I am personally proud of even see win at the moment, to keep giving Sullivan more hype that he deserves absolutely none of. To have to come back and beat the Habs in OT, the Habs suck ass, this is the second time they had to tie it up vs the Habs this season and win it in OT and this time not in Shootouts. This Sullivan era is just going to drag on forever and this really f***ing sucks.

I know this will piss off some, I don’t give a f***, block me.

It's because of the incentives to make it a 3 point game. Teams stop trying to score in the last 5-10 in the 3rd. The league needs to fix this.

Yeah most just hang on to let the time play out and then at worst they get 1pt and at best 2pts, but hanging on to take it to OT to get that 1pt is worth it for both sides sometimes. You almost see both teams kind of let the foot off the gas a little to allow it while other teams are just too incompetent to actually score another to win it in regulation (Ie: Pens).

Pens are literally praying these loser points add up just enough to make it into the playoffs so they can say they made it before they get wrecked in the first round.
