It could be that the other "equally forgettable" player had a bit more with the 1st rounder coming back than Santorelli.

(The Leafs gave up Santorelli and Cody Franson, at that time a reasonably successful right shot offensive defenceman in return for a late 1st rounder which became Travis Konecny, a 36 year old almost out of the NHL Olli Jokinen and an unforgettable 20 year old prospect who would go on to play with the Marlies, Leafs, Golden Knights, Canucks, Kings, Capitals, CKSA Moscow and Magnitogorsk Metallurg (8 teams across 7 organizations in 7 seasons), Brandon Leipsic of Instagram fame.)
