None of us know Patrick personally.
We have only the media to go on.
I am of the opinion judging upon the energy Kane exudes when on camera that he is a good lad .. typical of a great many of us when in our 20's may have partaken a little too much in alcohol and rambunctious behaviours.
But alas there will always be people whom like to throw stones.
Kane will be a first ballot HOF'er and will most likely go down as the greatest American hockey player.

No, the issue is he was in before Malkin was, that is and always will be dumb. Not even that he's in that, but Toews too was just bizarre. 101st guy that has hit 1,000pts faster than Kane, yet, not good enough for a list of 100 while being one of the few great Russians to ever play the game. Kane deserves to be on that list, Toews didn't and Malkin most definitely did.

That was the issue people had. Not about Kane.
