With 3 points tonight so far against the Leafs Patrick Kane now has 958 points which means he is now just 42 away from joining the 1000 point club.

Pretty impressive as it would make him just the 10th American in league history to reach that mark and if he has another season like last years he could finish the season in top 5 overall.

If he isn't yet I think it is looking likely not only will go down as the greatest Blackhawk ever but also greatest American player ever.
