GM InfinityIggy Midnight Press Conference - State of The Terrors​

Earlier today, The Terrors organization completed a trade in which Sasha Barkov, Roman Josi, James Van Riemsdyk and a 2016 3rd round prospect pick were traded away, in a three way deal. In return The Terrors have received Alex Pietrangelo, and Sidney Crosby.

We would like to thank Sasha, Roman and James for their contributions to our team this season, and in seasons past. We also would like to welcome Sidney and Alex to our team.

This trade has fundamentally changed the make-up of our team going forward. As such, we are taking the opportunity to name Sidney Crosby as one of our alternate captains. Captain Mikael Backlund, and alternate Shea Weber will wear the other letters.

To commemorate this trade, and our success so far this season, we are happy to unveil our new team logo:

Yes. A rough back-of-the-envelope calculation determined that the odds of the worst team in the league drafting outside the top 5 was about 25% in the old scheme. That was unacceptably high for us. This new system brings that chance to below 5%.
