At least that damn consecutive games played streak has finally been broken due to injury. A coach would never want to end a record streak like that by healthy scratching a guy. It now makes it a bit easier to scratch Adams down the road if they want to.

I think it'll definitely go a long way in JR deciding if he needs to retain one or several of Martin/Ehrhoff/Scuderi or if it's time for the kids to play next year.

Personally I think it's time to go young on D regardless of how they perform in this upcoming stretch.
