Todd: "I'm not a doctor, but I play one during post game press conferences."

If the team was in the hunt for a playoff spot or in the playoffs, I think RNH would be playing.

As it stands...

IR requires 7 days minimum. But it’s retroactive to the last game played. So this doesn’t necessarily mean much. Could just be a game or two he misses.

Team should be able to survive a few games without RNH. Hell, our PK might even be better without him.

Oilers always bungle up injury timelines. It's hilarious how inept they are when they give us info.

no sense rushing RNH back from a shoulder injury when he's previously had shoulder surgery in his career, especially when the season is toast anyways

Sternum is what is injured?

If so I think that's both bad and good.

I don't think you can do much for a sternum injury. Basically he just needs rest. If it's minor he should be back asap and no worse for wear albeit with a chance to reinjure it. If its major... Well that's where things get ugly cause I think only body cast/full rest can fix it.

Not a doctor but had a few chest injuries. Had one recently that was gone in less than 36 hours.
