We can ride the top two pairing for 23-25 minutes a night each if we need to. I am confident they can handle it. I don't want Ference on the ice more than 3 minutes a game and limit him to offensive zone situations.

The trade between Pittsburgh and Chicago just now was the first one all season I believe. Trades are tough.

We are looking for a Dman much better than Scuderi or Daley as well. No one is looking to part with them. There's Hamonic, but the Isles are demanding the kind of player we don't have. That means 3 way deal, and those are very hard to pull off, especially this season where trading is way down
