LA Kings PBP guy sounded like he had a stroke trying to pronounce Chelyabinsk.

I was wrong about Monahan. I think he could be the Calder favorite right now...

Looks like Glen Metropolit is doing pretty well in Anaheim. 7 points in 7 games.

FYI, Ribeiro has been playing left wing in Phoenix.

The Hanzal-Vrbata duo has always been ridiculously effective with a playmaker and a puckhog doing zone entries at LW. Riberio is the best at both of all players available this offseason and his game is suited to wing pretty well as long as he gets to control the puck since he's not a defensive juggernaut.

His value to them as LW is honestly much greater than his value to them as a C.

Since Rib sucked at faceoffs, maybe we should have moved him to wing too.

Move up MP. convert Fehr. Move MJ to center. Call up Latta.

Or of course, just kept Eakin and our pick.

Or just keep a better winger version of Ribeiro with defensive game to spare in Alex Semin.

While keeping Eakin and a pick.

Best PP in the NHL, trade Perry one of the best guys at drawing calls in the league and by far the best on the Capitals and he's drawing calls still.

You're going to feel like an idiot when you eventually realize there is actually a player on his team named Perry now.

The 1-3-1 powerplay is the latest fad. I know Vancouver, Philadelphia, and (obviously) New Jersey were using variations of it before we were. Perhaps a few others, but not a ton. Now it seems like more than half of the league is using it.
