Really wish we would just keep Danault at centre and develop him properly there. He could be a good one...

Seems like Therrien is trying everything but the obvious to get Pacioretty going. No surprise there. Just put him in an offensive role with Galch and Rads. Maybe he will stop moping if he's gifted a few tap ins from those 2. Byron's energy might wake up Pleks and Gally too.

Pac-----Galch----Rads
Byron---Pleks----Gally
Hudon--Dan-----Shaw

Sens are a team that gives us fits. Anderson always comes up big. Close game as usual

Senators always give the Canadiens problems, even with their below average roster.

I picture Galchenyuk and Radulov having a blast once again.

hudon on the 4th line what a waste

Agreed. The only thing I'll say in favour of it is at least he is playing with reasonably talented players on the fourth line as opposed to grinders and if they're matched against opposing fourth lines it will pretty much always favour us.

Really like these lines and I've also been waiting for Pac to get a shot with the big boys.

Hopefully Danault back on the wing lately means there is a trade being worked on to upgrade our centres.

Bergevin only makes big moves in the off season. In season moves historically have been acquiring 4th liners and career minor league goalies.

Hudon didn't do much last game, but he played relatively well. Not sure why he likes to flip-fop between players all the time. Can't we just get rid of DD and play both Hudon and Carr a chance. Let them develop...

Byron - Chucky - Radulov
Hudon - Plek - Gallagher
Pacioretty - Danault - Shaw
Carr - Mitchell - Terry

Seems a lot better than whatever lines Michel decides today :help:

What exactly does DD bring that keeps young players in the press box?
This.

Both Hudon and Carr >>>>> DD

Vanek... Petry... Ryder...

A nice bunch of 4th liner :sarcasm:

The only valid reason to scratch Hudon is that he could possibly be involved in trade talks and that games versus Ottawa are often sortof physical.

I wouldn't say this is a good reason though...

Besides, let's win this. Let's also earn as much points as possible, as our Schedule will become significantly tougher shortly.

These lines are ugly.

And who's Michou trying to fool? We know that Desharnais and Patches will play a regular shift together at some point. No need to pretend they're in the bottom 6 on different lines.

Ottawa is due for an offensive explosion, Price is due to have his save % take a hit.

5 - 1 Ottawa

If only YOU had the capability of scoring against Price! The Senators would need your help. Minus your valuable contribution. the Sens will fall.
