With only 6D playing, having a D man as your toughest policeman type of player is not the best. Using a 4th line forward for the policeman role makes the most sense as you can still play 3 lines with the other 2 4th liners providing relief when required.

Yes currently he’s a top 4 d man on the team. Who really cares anyway they are a last place team without a 1st round pick.
