Zero interest in Kulikov, zero interest in moving Sokolov. Zero interest in moving Brannstrom.Derek Grant
Dmitry Kulikov (50% retained)
for
Yegor Sokolov
Sens ship Brannstrom to a third team to recoup a pick or prospect.
If he was healthy, he's the ideal. Good enough to make a difference, too expensive for most teams.Sean Monahan would be my target

I'm glad Ottawa management feels differently.Brannstrom as a 7th D makes less than zero sense for the team or player at this stage IMO
We had to pay to get rid of Zaitsev. We need every penny for DeBrincat, Pinto and then Sanderson. What if Montreal retained 50%? Dvorak's caphit would be 2.225. Would probably cost a 1st rounder then though.

3rd LDWhere is he ever fitting into the current group?
Gross, they need a guy on a one year deal similar to the Bjugstad deal. No interest in that term or price tag. They have Norris coming back next year and Grieg who should be ready next season.Came to say this
Term is fine, term for expensive players is notI don't see why some are saying term is an issue so long as the guy is cheap. Sens bottom 6 has been bad and they need to upgrade on Kelly and Gambrell. Next year the bottom 6 likely features some combo of Joseph, Kastelic, Greig, Pinto and Gauthier.
I'd be looking for a guy who can play wing and centre on a <2.5M deal.
And he isnt very good. Especially for the hilarious price tag they want for him.No chance.
Extra two years is a deal breaker.
You can have Joseph and a 3rd.What if Montreal retained 50%? Dvorak's caphit would be 2.225. Would probably cost a 1st rounder then though.
Sanderson will never be RD. Chychryn more likely.3rd LD
Chabot Zub
Chychrun Sanderson
Brannstrom Hamonic (or Thomson next season)
Edit: Or, he likes playing RD if the coach will let him, so
Chabot Zub
Chychrun Brannstrom
Sanderson Hamonic (or Thomson next season)
Too much term, too much money, and if Ottawa was willing to give up a 4th, they would have grabbed someone already.Jason Dickinson has had good bounce back year with Hawks
Could be good add by Sens and shouldn't cost more than mid round pick
To
C Jason Dickinson
To
Lightnign 2024 4th round pick
If Ottawa serious about that wild card spot, a bottom 6 C seems quite likely today.
Nashville fans, whats the price for Trenin?
Yes but that would be only like 1M above a minimun salary guy. Plus Pinto's next deal should be relatively cheap bridge. I think it would be doable. Of course whether it's worth it is another story. We had to pay to get rid of Zaitsev. We need every penny for DeBrincat, Pinto and then Sanderson.
God no. Joseph brings much needed speed. Dvorak is not what this team needs. You can have Joseph and a 3rd.
Sanderson will never be RD. Chychryn more likely.
Also, JBD>Thomson
Chychrun sucked as a RD in Arizona. Sanderson is great with the puck which is what a LHD on the right side needs. You can have Joseph and a 3rd.

Turcotte is the opposite of what Ottawa is looking for. A young, former high end pick who needs a scoring line, likely requires an expensive asset to acquire, and would need a spot on the team next season. They should look at Turcotte imo
Too much term, too much money, too expensive to acquire, but the ideal style of player Ottawa would look for.I know you don’t want term….but…Scott Laughton?
