This. Pats fans aren't as annoying as Seahawks glory-hunters, and if they lose it won't be as deliciously whiney.
I know the old King Dome was a tough place to play, but growing up in the 90s in Denver I never saw a single Seahawks fan. Even when they had Warren Moon.
It wasn't until they lost to the Steelers in that Super Bowl (which Hawks fans are STILL whining about) that these people started to sprout up, and now they act like they're real fans and have been all along.
I hate seeing people wearing scarves and drinking coffee at a football game. Real football fans wear barrels and bright orange top hats, and they drink beer, dammit. That, and them being an old AFC West team, is why I always root against the Seahawks.

agree 100% I remember the Dave Krieg days. The team was decent in the Holmgren years but even then I don't remember them having die-hard fans.
Look at him sting-eyed and he'd fumble. So many memories: The Boz, Ground Chuck, Joe Trick Knee Nash, Shawn Springs, the Kingdome being more depressing than my visit to Verdun...
Some Corner Backs take away half of the field. Mirer was the rare QB who did that for himself.

I'm actually looking forward to this draft, and even more so the college FA's they bring in. I gotta figure there's going to bring in a PK, P, and maybe even a couple FB's. There's no doubt in my mind at all that 1-2 undrafted guys make the roster next year. And if the Broncos want to get really creative they might trade a bunch in the draft to pick up round 5-7 spare picks.

And if the Broncos want to get really creative they might trade a bunch in the draft to pick up round 5-7 spare picks.
The Good news is the Broncos are 8th in Cap Space heading into 2015 with $27.8M on a projected $140M (could be a little more or less) and they probably need about $4M set aside for draft picks.
I say the cuts:
Man Ram $3M
Colquitt $3m (Post June 1)
Chris Clark $1.4M
Andre Caldwell $1.35M
Hillman $770K
Norwood $770K
Which opens up an extra $10.29M or about $34M after draft picks. Even if you throw $14Mish at DMT Franchise Julius at $6m that would still leave $14M to get Pot Roast back and do some bargin hunting for the O-Line or LBs.

Even after that loss seahawks fans weren't a thing until Carroll showed up and won the SB. That type of glory-hunting is why I hate seahawks "fans." Pats fans were awful during the 3 rings, but at least they existed before Brady.
I held on to ManRam and Clark, just because they'd have zero depth if they cut them. Schofield and Paradis are busting hard and it's costing them big time. We gotta get some young OL to pan out here. Throw a wrench into everything there with zone blocking coming back.
There's no way Colquitt or Bubba sticks next year. Those are so obvious cuts. How does a punter make more than 1M in this league ever? Especially in Denver's altitude. Our special teams stink. Ditch the $3M punter and bring in some athletic backups.
One dude that's interesting to me is Bolden. I thought for sure he would be gone, and then he showed up in the return game with like 2-3 games left. I still think he gets cut, but now it's an actual conversation.

Yeah I heard. Unfortunately it look like our first comp pick isn't till the 4th. I was hoping it would be a 3rd to give a little trading up ammunition.
Not that I lack faith in Pot roast if we can keep (Which is a good shot), but if the switch to a 3-4 is made I always remember Joe Collier saying you need a good NT to make things work and the Orange Crush guys saying Ruben Carter was who made the D work. I think Feast mode is going to be at least that. Plus there would be a very deep rotation up front with Shelton, Knighton, Wolfe, Sly, Malik and Austin.
I still have bitter memories of Kragen, Townsend and Carrecker not being up to the task.
looks like 10 pick 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 2 5th, 3 6th, 7th All those third day picks would be ideal to load up on specialists.
The other thing I like is there a few Centers that look like they'd be a fit for the Zone Block and will be around on Day 2. Hit Monty with a 1 year deal to aid the transition and we finally fill the hole we've had since Weigman left.

They're now 3-0, the only undefeated team in the NLL, and the only team in the West with more than 1 win. They travel to Vancouver to play the 1-3 Stealth again next Saturday night.

I can't see them keeping Julius. I think they let him walk or trade his rights, something like that. Then re-sign Green, Tamme and a FA like Owen Daniels.
Daniels has a bit of an injury history too I think. But he is close with Kubiak.
The problem with Julius is he can't and won't block. And if we are moving to a zone system Julius is worthless. Sharpe was a terrible blocker too but he gave it his all when he tried.

Kragen was a horrible 3-4 NT. Joel Steed was better at CU than Kragen was in Mile High. You're right - those days were ugly lol

Thought of this the other day, Manning has won us one more playoff game than Tebow. This isn't a Tebow point but more isn't it amazing that this team has win a grand total of 2 playoff games in 3 years, one of which was a Super Bowl year.
