Might as well start this up with lots of good games today.

First off, Go Rutgers!

In other Big-10 stuff,

I hope Michigan routs Notre Dame.

Michigan St has their hands full vs Oregon.

Ohio St should handle Virginia Tech

Last night, sPitt easily defeated a bad Boston College team.
BC should stick to hockey and dismantle their football program.

go LSU i guess.

i only "root" for LSU because a ton of tigers have gone on to be pretty cool players in the NFL.

Rarely can you say this, but that was an exciting scoreless first quarter in the P.S. vs Rutgers game.

Defense really stepping up. I was worried about the secondary, but if we get pressure like that all night it won't matter.

My god college football is so much better than the NFL.

The atmosphere itself is better, but don't just judge it on this game - this is like a generational type importance to Rutgers (because it's Penn State coupled with it being their Big Ten opener).

Not just this game...every one

The atmosphere, the enthusiasm, the determination...even the fundamental flaws of NCAA players are more appealing to me.

If Rutgers is ever going to be big-time they're going to need QB's that can play above high school level football :P

This is like watching the Jets try to win around Sanchez in 2009 or Geno last year. Only Nova is supposed to be a college 'veteran'.

And there it is...those busted tackles on the 57-yard gain basically ended it. This is why I can't get into Rutgers, they're too much like the Jets :P

It's almost like Rutgers is "afraid" to win.

And why on earth you go to Prevent Defense after dominating defensively all game long is beyond me.

Wow, what a horrendous last series for Nova. They really don't have anyone better than this gong show?

Prevent defense had nothing to do with THREE guys missing a tackle on a short hitch that turned into a 57-yard play.

Nova should have his scholarship taken away after that game

Seriously, every single important "must win" game he has played, it seems he gives up 4-5 interceptions... this game, the louisville games, kent state in 2012. I believe Rutgers could have been a power house if they just had someone else in qb
