I've always thought of Mullen as a.poor man's version of Bossy.

I've never drafted him, but I see the appeal.

He have never been top 5 in points, only once 5th in goals, never in assists, ....

But he has been 2nd and 4th in playoff scoring for two cup wins.

He is a deserved pick.

I suspect I may be making this pick earlier than needed with VI being the only other guy with Montreal left as he seems to like to wait almost till the very end, but I don’t want to risk missing the guy who fits my team best...

Chicago selects Henri Richard, C

We'll add a 2 time AS with strong PP credentials and RHS to boot. Will QB the 2nd PP.

Dan Boyle, D, Tampa Bay

With Montreal it feels like there's like 5 guys you want early, and a *bunch* in the middle that you can get at your leisure.

Obviously the best player picked in probably 5 rounds at least.

I'm going to take some time (once my boss leaves) this afternoon and will prune the thread down so there will be no need for a second one.

Sorry to all the hurry up gifs that will be snapped out of existence

Or you could just tell your boss you have more important things to do like menial pruning of a hockey fantasy draft on a message board. :naughty:

There’s not a clear cut Captain on my team, but there are some decent options, who would you guys give letters to?

Schmidt
H. Richard

Only 1 other team can pick this guy, but he seems just like the kind of guy vadim would select, so I'll take him now to complete my third line:

Brian Propp, LW (PHI)

I figured some of my last few picks would really help, but damn. Pretty neat you put this together RB. Thanks sir.

Richard is the 2nd best Hab available, but.he doesn't suit my team's wingers.

Just as the BPA Newsy Lalonde doesn't fit either of ours.

We are building TEAMS not all-star game squads. So, it's a wise pick by you.

*thumbs up*

Part of the reason I made the pick was because I was looking at your roster and saw that Lalonde didn't really fit, and I did think H. Richard could fit (on your 3rd line in particular, I think he fits very nicely).

Your 1st line is tricky with Hull and Makarov, that's just a difficult combo to find a pivot for, period. I would say Richard isn't the ideal, but you could certainly do worse, he could be the defensive conscience of the line, and actually has the speed to keep up with those two. However, you definitely would have people saying there wasn't enough puck to go around.

The combo of Hull & Makarov already kinda makes me feel that way
