Phenomenal night on the out of town….

I said the Caps will finish 4-7 in their last 11 and stand by it. They have a tough schedule and are complete frauds. The Wings stink. Flyers are all smoke and mirrors.

This really is crazy. 89 or 90 points could conceivably be enough to get in.

Flyers are 3-5-2 in their last 10. Detroit is 3-6-1 (Not including tonights loss). Isles are 3-6-1. We could be 6-4 with 5 out of last 6. If trends continue, we make the playoffs.

Team just needs to play with fire and goaltending remain solid. We can do this.

The teams we are chasing should lose games, but we really need to start piling up some wins. Our current .500 pace won't do it

To add, there's an outside chance that we can come home on Tuesday controlling our own destiny.

Detroit plays Panthers and Lightning
Isles play Lightning and Flyers
Flyers play Hawks and Isles

We win. Detroit loses both. Isles loses to Lightning and beat Flyers or Flyers lose to Hawks and beat Isles.

If this happens, expect the Rock to be rocking.

They have to win out. Or at the very least only lose 1 game.

The tragic number right now on the Capitals is 13 points and 12 points on the Flyers. But they have a head to head remaining where one is giantess 2 points. There is also a head to head remaining between the Caps and Red Wings. So really the Devils tragic number for elimination is like 11 points last/gained by the others. 2 losses (that aren’t the Isles and Philly games) puts it down to about 6. That means those teams going 3-6-1 down the stretch still gets them in.
