Dean fooled us. He doubled-down on loyalty and is bringing back Purcell and Zatkoff. Next up: Brian Boyle, Matt Moulson, and Thomas Hickey.

Purcell had 43 points last season, which would've made him the 6th highest scoring player on the Kings, and the 3rd highest scoring winger (behind Toffoli and Lucic).

Those 43 points will likely translate to 30ish points with the Kings.

Its funny, with all of these ex-Kings coming back, fans with old jerseys with their names can dust them off and wear them again.

Low risk. Sensible. These moves aren't meant to overwhelm you. They were the kinds of moves DL made when he was building the team successfully. This is a transition year that I'm okay with.

Maybe Teddy can find some chemistry with Kopitar. He has some skill, although he is a bit on the soft side. I do like that he did this to the Ducks last season.
