Because we suck. We're as bad as Vancouver and need a rebuild just as much but everyone is making excuses or ignoring it. Everyone is lolbenning but Holland is been worse the last 5 years and gets a free pass.

He has been making easy saves look difficult this year.
He has bobbled way too many shots that have hit his glove

We won't win the cup because apparently no one can realistically challenge Pittsburgh except for New York (maybe)

There's a lot of reasons for Ottawa. Which to choose...

-LW in limbo with injury to MacArthur
-3rd line RW not good enough
-Cody Ceci should probably see a little less time, so a 2nd pairing D-man
-probably an overall lack of an elite level scoring forward
-Pittsburgh
-Bobby Ryan has taken most nights off and indeed cannot spell intensity

I'll go with the Pittsburgh option, in that it embodies everything: we're not good enough yet.

Our defensive depth is also pretty suspect. One injury to Karlsson, Phaneuf or Methot and we're in trouble.

I guess I'd agree and go with "our one reason is that we have many reasons".

-Injuries
-Coaching
-Lack of Depth

If I had to pick one, I'd say injuries. Just because the coaching can turn around, and the below-average depth players we have can be more useful... but we're going nowhere with ROR and Eichel (not to mention everyone else) injured or playing through injuries for extended periods, and losing valuable development/chemistry/gelling time because of it.

That was reason three, a 2nd pairing dman where Ceci moves down.
