Because in large part, the defense was also that bad. If you think it's goaltending then how do you square Aaron Dell being just as bad or worse than Jones yet turning it around when the coaching changed?

Dell did a lot of the same things too but even if he hadn't, goals against are goals against and Dell let in a comparable amount in his starts.

He is an RFA so they would need to qualify him, but I think the sharks are gonna have to decide how many bottom six centres they can keep at some point

DW has always preached that you can't have too many centers. There was a time when they had more natural centers in the lineup than wingers.

5 years ago the top line had 3 natural centers in hertl, thornton, pavelski.

And the 2nd line had at minimum 2 with couture, marleau.

Ferraro had the worst game I've ever seen him play, maybe the worst game of a Sharks d-man all year. When you win 6-3 and you are -3 and all 3 goals are by guys you are responsible for.....

How is Ferraro responsible for Bear? If you watch that goal again, Ferraro is actually meant to be on Sheahan. Letunov (I think) loses his man, and this puts Ferraro in a tough spot.
