On a team like the Sharks or Kings sure. In NJ he does go against the grain. Yes he offers certain skills and has great intangibles. That said he’s on an expiring contract and no spring chicken. With a young team still developing a younger long term player in that spot is attractive. He’ll finish the season on the fourth line and then move on most likely.
