Rexall has sounded like a morgue lately. In the late 90s (and of course the 2006 cup run) we were known as possibly the loudest building in hockey. Gigantic ticket prices are partly to blame, but it's not like we are watching the Oilers team from 2-3 years ago here. Come on Edmonton!

For ***** and giggles even if someone views him as a reclamation project, what exactly do you expect for Whitney? 2.88mil of actual salary still owed, pretty much just a rental at this point, averaged half a season of games the past couple year, skating looks like there still could be an issue.

Sure maybe some desparate team comes calling when all else fails at the TDD, but what you getting 3rd rounder, 4th?
