Hoping for some of these:

Flames goaltending to get exposed
Puljujarvi big game
Zykov big game
Lucic scoring (far fetched)
HUGE game from McDrai
Lot's of blood
Tkachuk getting what he deserves from Drai, Kass, etc
Johnny 5'4 getting called for diving
Another goal from 2nd line
Depth Scoring
And of course... A win!

I've got a real good feeling about this one. 6-1 Oilers.

Hey You Day drink too?

Giordano is suspended for kneeing. As you may recall, he severely injured Cam Fowler two seasons ago with a dirty, knee-on-knee hit.

Glad to see the NHL doing something about this.

Bill Peters said Backlund won’t play “this weekend”, so I assume he’s out.

It would be a good time for the Oilers to bring their best game of the year.

So long mike smith is upset im happy.

Oilers let Tkurtle get in their heads last game. It was helped out by the fact that the refs refused to penalize him. But the team needs to be smarter about picking their spots. Most important thing is getting the win. That’s enough punishment for Tkurtle.

Fixed for you

There's absolutely no excuse to lose this one now.

Todd gone
Goaltending has been better
Look, they can score!
Gio & Backlund out for Flames
Smith in net.
Flames playing back-to-back
= Win

Unless refs.

Still a small sample size but that's some pretty crazy stuff. Essentially saying that the team is over 20% more effective on the defensive side of the ice under Hitch. In a game where every little bit matters that is huge. Would be interested to see how the offensive side is doing.

This will be a good game I think. Hopefully the Oilers can stay composed or even better get under Calgary's skin.

They also have a quick turn around too. Play late at 8 p.m. tonight, then travel up to play the Oilers at 7 tomorrow.

If they lose tonight and the Oilers win tomorrow they'll be 4 points back of 1st with a game in hand. I'm just glad this team is in the mix and the entire line up seems to be moving in the right direction. Last year was brutal and having to watch Mclellans ass start this season was brutal, as well.

I'd relax on the hype until these next 3 games are over. The Flames are a really good team this year and we've lost countless times to teams playing back-to-back games
