Ference better not see the ice for awhile. The PP lines needs to change. Why the hell is RNH and McDavid on one single PP line pairing? WTF.

I actually thought we played pretty well. Nashville is just a really good team with a great defence.

Justin Schultz looked really good. He's got confidence.
Talbot is good.

I think our defence has to work on its shooting. It feels like they missed the net 80% of the time.

Frustrating that two boneheaded turnovers from veteran players (one expected to be the best d-man on the team) cost the team both goals.

Also frustrating the team can't score a goal.

PP was absolutely awful.

5v5 Oilers dictated the play imo.

Talbot has been excellent through first 2 games. Everything you could want.

But score some bloody goals.

The peculiarity of taking Reinhart out for Ference was punctuated perfectly in the final few minutes of the game where Ference effectively gives away any chance at any comeback by giving away the 2-0 goal and then taking a penalty immediately after.

Cannot score 5-on-5 to save their lives and cannot set up on the PP to save their lives right now either.

End result ... predictable.

I don't know. I'm trying not to overreact but this just hurts. We saw this last year too

Two absolutely horrid giveaways by the defense were the difference in this game. The rest of the team deserved better.

Ironically its by two veteran d man. One that hasn't been great since preseason, and the other that should ****ing retire already.

The staff needs to figure something out about the offense. That was painful to watch. I won't sit through a season of that.

I'd ***** about the last couple missed penalties by the refs... but the Oilers would have done crap on the PP anyway... plus too little too late.
